Artsol is a SaaS platform that provides AI-powered phone ordering systems for restaurants. Individual restaurant storefronts operate on subdomains of the Artsol platform (e.g., https://pizza.artsol.us). All SMS communications are managed centrally by Artsol on behalf of its restaurant partners.
Customers call a restaurant's phone number and interact with an AI voice agent to place their order. At the end of the call, the agent offers to send a secure payment link via SMS or email. SMS messages are only sent to customers who explicitly choose to receive them via text message.
The following is the exact verbal exchange that occurs during the phone call:
Step 1 — Agent offers SMS or email:
Agent: "Can I text the payment link to the number you're calling from, ending in [last 4 digits]?"
Step 2 — Customer chooses SMS:
Customer: "Yes" / "Sure" / "Text me"
Step 3 — Agent provides SMS consent disclosure:
Agent: "Just so you know, you'll also get order updates by text. Message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP anytime to opt out. Sending the link now."
Step 4 — SMS is sent:
The payment link SMS is sent only after the disclosure is delivered. No further confirmation is required from the customer since they already explicitly chose SMS.
Alternative — Customer declines SMS:
Agent: "Would you like it by text to a different number, or by email?"
If the customer chooses email, no SMS is sent and no SMS consent is collected.

Customers who consent to SMS may receive the following transactional messages:

Customers can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. Supported opt-out keywords: STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT, OPTOUT, REVOKE. Upon opting out, the customer receives a confirmation and no further messages are sent.
Customers can reply HELP or INFO to receive assistance. Help response includes brand name and contact email (support@artsol.us).
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
